ABOUT
Vets for Hire is a social impact hiring initiative aimed at supporting and advocating for Veterans. We partner with businesses in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to bring opportunities to Veterans in a state of career transition.
As a Veteran, female, and minority-owned business, we believe it is our responsibility to ensure that our Veteran community has access to career opportunities at every stage of their civilian life. It is for this reason that the Vets for Hire program is provided completely free to both our Veteran candidates and Employers who participate.

Q: Does joining the Vets for Hire program cost me anything?
A: Not at all! Vets for Hire is a free program for the Veterans who we have the privilege to serve and Employers that support the veteran community.
Q: Why is Vets for Hire a free program?
A: As a Veteran, female, and minority-owned company, we see the Vets for Hire program as a way to give back to our veteran community.
Q: Can recruiters join the Vets for Hire program?
A: We value and appreciate the work recruiters do, but the goal of Vets for Hire is to streamline the hiring process by giving our Employer partners direct access to our Veteran candidates via our candidate page.
Q: I’m a fellow Veteran and want to give back to my fellow Veterans, any thoughts?
A: Thank you for your service! We’d love for you to take part in any one of virtual events, speaker panels, or promote you as a mentor. Whatever way you’d like to give back let’s connect, email us at vetsforhire@desanticorp.com

A: It is not. Through this initiative, we work to highlight Veteran candidates and easily connect them to our Employer partners.
Q: What benefits do I receive by being a part of Vets for Hire?
A: Exposure to Veteran friendly employers, direct access to hiring managers, monthly/biweekly newsletter with career resources, job opportunities, job hunting tips, and access to virtual events aimed at supporting your career development
Q: Does Vets for Hire help with resume and cover letter edits?
A: Yes, you’ll get access to best practice templates that will help highlight your skills and experience. If you’re looking for more of a one on one service, we partner with providers who are able to assist with this specialized service.
Q: Does Vets for Hire help with interview prep and coaching?
A: Absolutely, you’ll get access to virtual events and emails aimed at preparing you for your next interview. If you’re looking for more of a one on one service, we partner with providers who are able to assist with this specialized service.
Q: I’ve just been hired, what happens next?
A: Congratulations! All we ask is that you let us know so we can thank our partners and that you pay it forward.
Q: I’d like to update my employment profile, how do I do that?

Q: What benefits do I receive by being a partner in the Vets for Hire program?
A: Access to professional and highly skilled Veteran candidates with anywhere from 1-30 years of experience, promote your company as a Veteran friendly Employer on our Vets for Hire page and social channels, get your job postings directly in the inboxes of our qualified Veteran candidates, and create a more diverse and inclusive workplace; Veterans bring valuable skills and leadership experience from their military service to your workforce. Tax credits may be available depending on candidate and Employer background
Q: Will my company be charged a hiring fee if we hire a Vets for Hire candidate?
A: Not at all. Vets for Hire is a free program to both our Veterans and Employers
Q: I want to invite Veteran candidates to apply to my job posting, does Vets for Hire help with that?
A: Absolutely! We highlight our Employer’s job postings directly to our candidate pool. If we think one of our Veteran candidates might be an especially good fit, we’ll make sure to connect you both at no cost to you or our Veterans candidate.
Q: I have a lot of resources aimed at supporting Veterans on their career journey, can I share them with you?
A: Yes, please send resources our way to vetsforhire@desanticorp.com and we’ll make sure our Veteran candidates receive them. We might also connect with you about taking part in one of our virtual events and speaker panels.
Q: Does DeSanti have other offerings besides Vets for Hire?
A: Yes, we’re so glad you asked! We offer a variety of services as part of our main source of business which can be found (HERE). These services are separate from the Vets for Hire initiative.
